Do-Wah-P.Diddy

**Note the confusion by the $1 bill mixed in with the Benjamins.

The other night I had a dream about P Diddy. We were just hanging out, having a good time chatting it up. We vented about our life problems and took each others advice. You know, like good friends usually do. It felt totally normal and relaxing to be chilling with my homie and talking like we were old friends. Sometimes I really love dreams.

This is what I'm going to do with my dogs! Once I'm allowed to have any that is. I'll also do this with my children when they are old enough to comprehend what is good and bad. Only instead of animal commercials it'll be those depressing ones in Haiti or Africa with starving children that have flies on them playing in a river filled with garbage. By the time I do have children, even if they're adopted, who knows what the world will be like. Only time will tell!

Speaking of the world. This necklace is pretty much badass. What more can I really say about it? Well that it's gangsta. Not just cus it's gold but because it's THE WORLD. If I ever become a rapper I'll wear this and say "I got so much dough, I've got the world hanging from my necklace!" In the meantime if I had it I'd look like a hipster with my head cocked back and a little limp in my walk.

Eat Pray Love

While I was laying around being sick I decided to finally watch Eat Pray Love. It's more than two hours long, so you have to be in the mood to set out on an epic movie journey.

And I did just that! I laughed. I cried. I laughed and cried at the same time. It was what I needed and totally hit home with me and my ambitions. This movie was so inspiring and gets you thinking about what you're doing with your life.

Anyone that's feeling stagnant in their life should go watch this. It'll give you that kick in the butt you need to do something about it. I already knew my goal in life was to travel and find myself but this movie just wanted me to achieve it that much more.

After watching the movie, I definitely want to read the book now. Everyone knows movies leave things out. So I can only imagine how much better the book will be. Can't wait to set out on another adventure!!! Anyone want to join?

So-Called Salt Trash

Why must all good things come to an end?! There are too many amazing shows that only last for one season. The finale is always leaving you wanting more and feeling abandoned. I watched My So-Called Life when I was in high school and could tooootally relate. Watching it again now, years later, it's that much better. It's the small details that crack me up.

Finally got around to seeing Salt. There's not much to say about it. It was pretty predictable as they say and I'm so glad I didn't see it in theaters. I'll always love Angelina but one can only watch so many movies of the same chick playing the same bad-ass type character.

Vh1 has done it again. More and more trashy shows are popping up each season. Viewers get to waste a few more hours of their day watching women argue and be catty with each other. Makes my life seem that much more wonderful. Keep it up girls!

Glee Lookbook Pool

So I broke down and finally did it. I've begun watching Glee...and love it. Why didn't they have a club like that while I was in HS? Maybe they did but I didn't realize it existed; just like in Glee. Sometimes it's a little High School Musical (randomly breaking into song at odd moments) but I'm a Gleek. I've downloaded all the albums and find myself singing the songs randomly. Don't be jocky, jerk and go watch it already!

Thanks to Olivia I am now obsessed with looking at hipsters take pics of themselves and post it on lookbook.nu. Some of the outfits are definitely cute. After a while though I start to notice a trend in the trendy outfits. And that is that they all kind of look the same. Cue high waisted shorts with a flowy top and obscure leather shoes. Check it out anyways and get ideas for your next outfit.

A new hobby of mine is to lounge poolside and finally get that Hawaiian tan. Theres a local hotel pool that I've been frequenting. There's a bar there too so I can order cocktails and pupus. Don't mind if I do! I might venture out and go to a couple other hotels until I find the most luxurious, convenient one. Whenever someone finally comes to visit I'll know the perfect place to go and just be.

Walking Zombie Sandwich

Some ingredients in sandwiches drive me crazy. Cue lettuce! Sure it's good for you but it slides all over the place and makes the whole sandwich fall apart. It's completely useless when not in a salad; where it should stay. Another sandwich pet peeve of mine is the order in which I make a PB & J. For me jelly always goes first. That way you don't get peanut butter all up in the jelly jar.

One thing that always goes through my mind when I see moldy strawberries are how they're like zombies. Once one gets infected it proceeds to infect it's friends close by.  Zombie Strawberries!!! Just think about it. You know it's true. So next time you're in the produce section keep you guard up or you could be next.

Speaking of zombies, everyone should check out the show/graphic novels "The Walking Dead." I've been sucked in by it's awesome apocalypse-ness. Who doesn't love a good end of the world zombie story? Jay and I whipped through this show like a tornado and can't wait for the second season to hurry up and come out. Check it out people!

**P.S. Vote on the poll to help me decide whether to get an Iphone, Ipad, or neither. Thanks!

Sucker Punch...

Sucker Punch...to my face! That is actually what it felt like after watching this; like I had received a nice good hook to the kisser. I was sooo pumped for it to come out. Even had a count down going. It had so much potential but was just put together horribly. The only reason we stayed awake during it was because the Imax sound system was blasting ridiculously loud.

I wish they would've switched back and forth between reality and her alternate reality. It would've made more sense as to what was going on in real life. Instead they just summarize it all at the end in like 3 minutes. Leaving you thinking an even huger WTF then you started with. Be a pirate and download this, don't even waste your money renting it. Shame on you Zack Snyder!

Free Tail Flavors

Recently, I was recommended the clothing site FreePeople.com. And so far they were right! It's totally my style and they have great photos of the models wearing the clothes. They're not all just stock photos with a white backdrop. I like the hazy, mysterious pics that make you want to know the girl and where she got her amazing clothes. Hopefully I will be lucky enough to find a photographer who can recreate similar images.

Now this is a trend that I will never understand. I've seen alot of the pop-hipster kids around here wearing huuuge tails on their belt loops. Why? I mean I can understand that animals are cute and their fluffy tails are intriguing. But this doesn't mean we personally should have them too. Either way you look retarded, stop wearing them, and make this trend end as fast as it started.

27 Flavors. That's how many flavors the box says are available. Why on earth would you ever need that many pop-tarts flavors? What is this the Bertie Bott's jelly beans from Harry Potter but for pop-tarts? As long as they're not coming out with obscure flavors that are unnecessary then do your thang Kellogg's. I'll just stick to my usual Strawberry (with or w/o frosting).

Easy Freaks Bureau

Last night I saw Easy A finally. It was better than I thought but glad I didn't see it in theaters. There were definitely some great lines and scenes. Her parents are so awesome, totally going to be like that when I have kids. Sure it was unrealistic but you can't expect much from a teen comedy these days (unless it's made by Judd Apatow).

Speaking of Judd Apatow, Jay and I have become addicted to his old TV series Freaks and Geeks. Why there was only one season is a mystery to me. I can toootally relate to the characters on this show; the trivial drama that seemed like the end of the world during those HS times. One thing I love is how realistic it is. Those guys always do it right. The cast is amazing too! What's great is that it came out 10 yrs ago and now they're all big stars.

Another movie I'm glad I didn't see in theaters was The Adjustment Bureau. It was alright but not what I thought. The trailer made it seem like it was similar to something like The Matrix. They didn't really go that into it or why Matt Damon's life has to be a certain way. The concept was interesting, but they should've hired the Coen brothers to max it out. Download it, don't waste your money.

Flu Makeup Edition

All last week I had the flu and it was the worst I've been sick in more than a year. I'm still recovering! I had to call in sick for work 4 days in a row, then just tough it out on the weekend. Now my nose is all scabbed up and gross from blowing and wiping it so much. This contraption would've been useful but Jayson was nice enough to get me a box of tissues. Despite being sick I was still able to celebrate my birthday and help some kids do the same.

Today when I was on my break I walked by Barnes & Noble and realized the new SI swimsuit edition is out. So far it's pretty good and of course there's tons of gorgeous women. Other than all the beautiful pictures I'm trying to read the articles too and learn some things. All I've learned at the moment is that I'm poor and can't go to any of the exotic and local rich beaches they did the photo shoots at.

Speaking of photo shoots, I've had an overwhelming amount of offers on MM for shoots. On Sunday I'm going to a beauty seminar at Sephora to learn how to put makeup on. Maybe then I won't have to rely on makeup artists for my shoots. Plus knowing how to put on makeup is a life skill for women to learn in general. And frankly it's a lesson I have yet to learn, and now's a good time as any. Doing my hair will be the next lesson to learn.

**P.S. Oh! A side note, I got rid of the lip ring. It became a hassle and the piercer didn't tell me that to have a ring it needed to be pierced a certain way. Oh well I can always wear a fake one and get it redone if I really want to.

Scam Mayhem Donation

Yep, that's right I got scammed. Susan Page Modeling is one huge scam. Lesson learned not to waste money on modeling. First they told me the price included a photoshoot at a mansion on the beach with hair and makeup. They also told me that it would include my modeling cards with pics from the shoot.

After a great ego boost of looking great with makeup and hair done and wearing my own clothes, I got jipped. The house ended up not being a mansion or even close to the beach. The pictures turned out alright but Jayson took better pictures of me for free on my personal camera. Also when I came back to pick out the pics for my modeling card, I was charged MORE money. Plus the pics I got to keep were developed on normal pics you can get from Walmart. Lucky me...
At the end of picking out my photos they gave me a bunch of paperwork, which basically said I couldn't work for any other agency for a year. Psh, heck no I didn't sign it.

Instead of sitting on my cute butt for a year stuck with Susan Page Scammers, I was recommended this awesome site by a fellow model. She said she's gotten about 30 photoshoots in about 2 months with hair and makeup all for free. Plus she's done small scale runway shows, fashion displays, and other fashion type events. Basically, it's a fb for people trying to build their portfolios! My profile just got approved yesterday so we'll see how it goes!

After being a personal ATM for SPM, I was still feeling in a giving mood. I went through some of my clothes and was able to get rid of a huge bag of clothes. Hopefully after a while I'll be able to go through and get rid of some more. As Novak suggested, all I need is enough to fit in a backpack. Well unfortunately my imaginary backpack is the size of a closest. But it's a process of letting go! Give me some slack here! Another bonus was I got a tax receipt for the donation, so I'll get more back next year. Which means I'll be able to restock my closest with new clothes!

Model Lip Passion

On Thursday I went to my photo shoot to get my portfolio going. It was at the house of the owner of the agency. Whoo! That's a tongue twister. Girrrl I got my hair and makeup did and I was lookin' fiiine. The first set up pics reminded me of getting senior pics taken for HS. The second set was pool side and I had finally gotten to see what I looked like. When I looked in the mirror between outfits, I didn't even recognize myself.

Later that afternoon & evening, I took advantage of the free makeup & hair. So I asked my friends & Jayson to take pics of me. We went to Magic Island and got some great shots with Luana's film. And Jayson and I did some street shots around our neighborhood. They all turned out so great! Thanks you guys!

Got my lip pierced today after work. I've been wanting to get one for a while now and figured now's a good time as any. The actual piercing part didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would. When I first saw the needle they were were going to use I thought "ohhh lord this going to hurt". It hurt more trying to eat at JIB right afterwards. Thank god for Jamba Juice so that I could get some non-painful nutrition.

This is the recent Netflix that I got. I've been meaning to watch it since it came out in HS. Little did I know that it wasn't in English and I would have to stay captivated to for a couple hours. I was unsuccessful in this endeavor. Guess I'm not ready for something like this at this point in my life. There wasn't much motivation to watch a story that I already knew. It'll have to wait til a later date.

Rude Jersey Tattoo

I was bored and decided to check out msn.com to see if there was anything interesting to entertain me. What I found on my search was a list of the top 20 rudest cities in america. Just to name a few: Anchorage (#20), Seattle (#16), Vegas (#8), and L.A. (#1). Of course there were only major cities on the list. Which if you think about it all the locals there are probably stressed and if they're visiting they're stressed because they're lost. Anyways, below is the link to see the full list. (Copy & Paste it into your browser)

Link: http://www.travelandleisure.com/articles/americas-rudest-cities

Yep, that's right biatches! They're baaack. Miami was a trip and now they're back in Jersey crazier than ever. There's only been two episodes so far and there's already been a semi-fist fight, smooshing, yelling, and Snooki getting arrested. What more could you ask for in a trashy show each week? Let the drama continue to entertain us and make us feel guilty for being so into it. The biggest question on my mind right now is, "Does Snooki need rehab for alcoholism?" Why don't we all answer on the poll at right!

Dark, a badass, and curiously sexually attractive. These are a few things that come to my mind when I think of Stieg Larsson's character, Lisbeth Salander played by Noomi Rapace. So far I've only seen The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and can't wait to see the other two. Unfortunately, I haven't read the books yet but definitely intend to (with the recommendation from both my parents long before the movies and who are avid readers and know their stuff). But for now I'll just look at the beautiful editorial pictures and have a slight envy of being somewhat like that character. Hope no one runs into me in a dark alley when I'm feeling a little Lisbeth-like.
